On Electropica, Bone gives outstanding performances on 10 original songs. True to the style of his earlier works, Richard demonstrate a penchant for textural timbres and wide open ambience, but adds more rhythmic and melodic elements. These two influences create a wonderful blend, rather than a dichotomy of styles. The album is dedicated to the masters, Jobim, Bonfa, and Gilberto, and breathes new life into this wonderful sound of Brazilian culture.
